Click here to register for the June PCC/Rimfire Rifle match.
Each month, on the Friday prior to the Saturday IDPA match, we end the week a specialty night match.
Winter
During the winter months (October through March) , we feature a Blackout match. This is an IDPA specialty match conducted in blackout conditions. We will be following IDPA rules, but each course of fire will be conducted in the dark. Shooters, targets, and fault lines will be marked with chem-lights for safety purposes. This is not a good match for new competitors. BGTC requires that all participants have competed in at least two USPSA or IDPA matches prior to registering for this blackout match.
For equipment, in addition to the usual equipment required for an IDPA match, a firearm mounted light will be required. No IR or night vision.
Although the bays are lighted, a flashlight or headlamp is recommended for scoring and for use away from the bays.
Summer
During the summer months (April through September), we feature a PCC match. This is an IDPA specialty match for just the PCC and .22 rifle divisions. We will be following IDPA rules, but each course of fire will be focused on challenging the PCC shooters. This match is open to all competitors and no prior competition experience is required. Like all competitions, you do need to be comfortable loading, unloading, and handling your firearm safely.
For equipment, bring the usual equipment required for an IDPA match. Even with the 30-round division capacity, plan on a couple mag changes on some stages.
For all Friday matches
Plan on shooting 5 stages with an approximate round count of 125. (90 rounds minimum to shoot the match).
Although the bays are lighted, a flashlight or headlamp is recommended for use away from the bays.
The match fee is $15.00.
SIGN-IN CLOSES AT 5:30; MANDATORY SAFETY BRIEFING AT 5:45; TRIGGERS AT 6:00. We usually finish by 8:00ish.
